Who we are
This website is run by Vantage Point Group, LLC, an independent company based in Chicago, Illinois (“we” or “us”). Questions about this policy? Email welcome@thevpgllc.net.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, organization, email, area of interest, and the message you write.
- Free assessment: your answers (we keep a score, a result tier, and the area most worth focusing on), plus your first and last name, email, company, and job title.
- Booking a call: if you use our Google Calendar link, Google collects what you enter there, under its own terms.
- Email: if you email us, we keep the conversation.
- Email security check: the domain you type in, which we look up in public DNS records. We keep the result for about 10 minutes so repeat checks are quick, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to an hour to prevent abuse. We do not keep these afterwards.
- Live chat: if you start a chat, the messages you type and anything you choose to share (such as your name or email), plus technical data such as your IP address. Chat transcripts are stored by our chat provider and by us.
- Automatically: basic usage data through Google Analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found us), and the technical data any website receives when your browser connects, such as your IP address.
How we use it

- To show your assessment results and follow up about them
- To understand how the site is used and make it better
- To keep the site secure, and to meet legal obligations
Who else handles it
We use a few services to run this site. Each handles information under its own privacy terms:
- Formspree delivers form submissions to us by email.
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used.
- Google Calendar handles call booking, if you choose to book.
- tawk.to provides our live chat. Its code loads only if you click “Chat with us,” and it uses cookies or similar technology to keep your conversation going.
- Our web hosting provider serves the site and keeps standard server logs.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technology to tell visits apart and measure usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out add-on. We do not use cookies for logins or accounts. If you start a live chat, our chat provider also sets cookies or similar technology.
Other websites
Our pages link to other sites, including news sources, Google Calendar, and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and assessment information as long as we need it to respond to you, provide services, and meet legal and business record requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information you sent us, or to stop contacting you. Email welcome@thevpgllc.net and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as California’s privacy laws; contact us and we will help.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS encryption on this site, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. This site is for businesses and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
